Dark, Snow, Vroom, Duck!

Missy and Connor on Missy's snowmobile.

Sean and Jack

Last month we went with my sisters family to their cabin. They let us take out their snowmobiles, it was so much fun. Sean accidentally made a wrong turn onto a dead end road that hadn't been packed down. We got stuck, really stuck! Jack got a bit worried but did really well. We were rescued by a neighbor that had some awesome contraption that pulled us out (he was a buff 17 year old cowboy). The next morning Jackson got up before the sun did. He was looking out the cabin window and saw the snow mobiles. He said to Sean "Dark, snow, vroom, duck!" Duck of course meaning stuck. It was a memorable moment for all. I don't think we'll take that turn again. Thank you buff 17 yr old cowboy! And thank you Jody and Brad for the great time at your cabin.

Come On Tony Horton, Work Me OUT!

Connor decided to do some P90X, he's hardcore, using the red bands... Look at those ARMS!

And Jack! Just look at him! He's doing push ups with his feet on the chair.

Hardcore I tell you! Hardcore!

Connor's a Pro now!

Connor's cousin (or best friend) Missy, took him rock climbing for a late birthday present.
(Yes, Missy is gorgeous, 19 , 6'1", and boys have to go through me first!)

He made all the way to the top!

He's pretty awesome!

Thanks Miss for taking your best friend climbing.

Cute Shoes!

This is my favorite blessing dress picture.

Coco Bean is 6 months!

Name: Chloe Elizabeth Drew
Also known as: Coco, Coco bean, little bit
Chloe got the nick name Coco shortly after she came home from the hospital because Jack couldn't say Chloe and said "Coco" and it stuck, we like it. He hasn't called her anything but "baby" since. Coco bean, because I just said it one day and it stuck. And little bit, because she is so darn little. At her 6 month check-up she was;
Weight: 13 lbs 4%
Height: 25" 22%
Head: 16.8" 52%
We've never had a baby this little! I think I figured out why she isn't sitting up by herself, her head is so darn big for her body. Poor little bit.
Chloe is the best little baby in the world, even better than Connor was. She only fusses when she needs her bum changed or something to eat. She loves her brothers, she always smiles at them and watches them run around. Connor gets her to laugh the hardest, especially when he dances silly for her. Jack loves to get up close to her and say "Hiiiiiiiii baby", help her play with her toys and give her kisses goodnight. She always loves to hear her daddy's voice, she especially loves when he sings to her, I must say I do too. She is our little angel we love her so much and we are so happy to have her!

I finally took some pictures of her in her blessing dress before she'll outgrow it... maybe she won't though?

The quilt was made by my sister in law Shannon, isn't it sooooo cute?

It's almost midnight

Darn caffeine, I'm still up. For dinner tonight I hit the local Sonic and ordered me my beloved Route 44 Diet Coke with Lime (they always put 3-4 delicious lime wedges in it). I just took the last drought. Good bye yummy deliciousness.

Yesterday I thought I had a wonderful idea. Our crawl space is a little out of control... one side is a 'toy room' the other side is our storage. I have lots of bins of little boy clothes. Since we had our last child several months ago, and it's a girl, this means I can purge purge purge some of that storage (YAY!). I despise clutter and having too much stuff, looking around my house you'd never guess that though (helllloooo 2010). I started opening storage bins and dislodging the poor cute little clothes which have been cooped up far too long. I'm hoping they will have a nice new life. Some went to Kid to Kid (I love that place) and others went to a nice new home and the rest will be taking a trip to the closest D.I. I started this project in my living room which I always like to keep clean, it's like my sanctuary... well, not today. I was thinking that I should have taken a picture.. there were piles and piles and piles a plenty. Now there are just a few small piles hopefully gone tomorrow. I'm sure that tomorrow, when the mess is gone, I will really realize what a wonderful idea it was.

Newest Member

Sat. Jan. 2 Connor was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What an awesome day it was! Connor was a little nervous because "half the whole entire family was there". He was the only one from our ward to be baptized, so it was all about him. We met in the relief society room. I was asked to say the opening prayer. I was in trouble because right after I was asked I got all choked up. Sure enough, as soon as I opened my mouth to talk I started crying, I'm pretty sure it's an inherited trait. I can always depend on my sister crying when I am too (thanks for the support sissy poo). I'd be surprised if anyone understood a word I said, it's the thought that counts, right? Our friend Kristin introduced him and she said some super cute things about him. There was a musical number by 4 primary girls, and a wonderful talk was given by a member of the Stake Primary Presidency. (Sorry about the sideways picture, for some reason I couldn't get it to turn)

This is everyone who was able to make it, a few families weren't even there, we are a big group. (Amy Jones was taking the picture, and Christine Morrison and of course Kristin Norby was there too).

I love Connor's face in this one, he said his cheeks were hurting from smiling so much. Jack is showing how he was feeling. He cried for Dad the whole time.

I love this card, I think it's adorable! (love you Brina!)

While we were waiting for Sean and Connor to change into their dry clothes we went into the primary room. We were all handed an index card to write something to Connor for the primary to give him on Sunday. I love that idea, it's going to be something that he will always keep. He said he felt good and happy after. I hope he always remembers how he felt right after. I remember how I felt. I don't remember much about the day, but I remember how I felt and I felt so warm and so good, a feeling that is hard to describe. I'm very pleased that Connor made the choice to be baptized, I know that the Gospel will bring him so much comfort and direction in his life. I for one am glad that I was baptized when I was 8, for those very reasons. I love Connor very much, he is an amazing little boy!
