Easter Sunday

Connor has been so excited for Easter this year, he's been counting down for about two weeks. Yesterday morning he woke up and said "One more day until Easter!" This morning he got up the first time at 6:15 am. He thought the Easter Bunny hadn't come yet. At our house the Easter Bunny hides things, but leaves trails of jelly beans and eggs hinting to where the gifts are, he didn't see the jelly beans. Sean told him to go back to bed for a while. We got up at 7:30. Connor said this is "The Best Easter Ever!" I'm glad he thinks so. He got some Pokemon toys and a Bionacle, and lots of candy! (I just remembered something that the EB left but didn't leave out, oops). Jackson, got a sippy cup, some new onsies, the stacking ring toy (he loves that!). I got Rummikub (a game) and some chocolate, Sean got the game Sequence, and some candy. We got some yummy kisses; lemon creme and orange creme, if you haven't tried them you should! Yummy!

Sean worked outside yesterday, filling our play area with wood chips and helping our neighbor get a start building their shed. He got so sunburned, he has a bit of heat stroke today. Poor guy. I hope he doesn't burn next weekend in Moab, I guess it's always nice to get that first sunburn of the year out of the way. Every time he burns I worry that he's going to get skin cancer. I put stuff in the trailer and played with the baby boy!

This is a picture of our first meal in our new trailer, we had pb & j sandwiches and koolaid.

Random thought: I tried some dark chocolate yesterday and I liked it! I've never liked it before, I actually liked it better than milk chocolate! I'll have to try more to make sure! hehehe.

I think I'm going to be done going to physical therapy. I think I can do the rest on my own. I'm so tired of paying medical bills, I don't want to pay anymore! I think I'm going to go on strike (just for myself, not for my kids).

I borrowed the book "These Is My Words" from my friend yesterday. She said she liked it better than "Queen of Camelot" which is my latest favorite book. So I'm excited, I've only read a few pages so far.

Last week I went to the gym twice. Mon. and Wed. Friday I was too sore and needed to take the day off. I still got my cardio in. I walked to get Connor from school, so it worked out. I think that I should train for a triathlon. I love riding my bike and like swimming and want to like running. I'm going to try to start running.

I hope you all have had a great Easter!

Woohoo energy and cute body, here I come!

I really hope that I can stick with this. This morning my friend and I got up and were at the gym at 5:00 am, yes me, at the gym at 5, I can hardly believe it myself! We did the elliptical for 20 min, I rode the bike for about 8 min (that was all I could do) and we did some weights after that. I'm so proud of us that we did it. I'm going to try to do it every day. I hope I really do it. It sucked getting up that early, and sucked doing the actual work out, but when I got home I showered and climbed back in bed and laid there for a while, but didn't really need the rest so Id got up and got ready for the day. I've been having the hardest time getting energy going for myself. I think I've just needed to exercise. I'll have to do something really embarrassing and post a before picture of myself for an incentive to keep going. I was inspired by a friend in our ward who does this everyday, she is in killer shape, she runs marathons! I don't really want to run a marathon, but I want to feel good and be happy with my body. Maybe writing about it in my blog will be more motivation?? I hope.

We are buying a trailer. It's a pop up one with the toy hauler in the front of it, we don't have a 4 wheeler but we'll be able to put our bikes and extra stuff there. We get to pick it up on Wed. We are so excited and want to go camping lots. We are going to Moab not this weekend but next. We are going to meet my Brothers family and my Sisters fam. It's going to be kind of a short trip we leave Thurs and come home Sat. We have to be back Sun., Sean and I have to speak in a ward in our Stake.

Sean and I are the Emergency Preparedness Coordinators/Trainers for our stake and region. I'm glad that Sean does most of it, I just kind of do the secretarial stuff for him, which I don't mind, it's kind of fun. I'm glad that he knows what he's doing cause I wouldn't know what to do he's awesome! We are on the High Council circuit for speaking, so once a month we speak in a different ward. I started preparing my talk but haven't gotten too far. I really should work on that.

Snooz You Say?

We were trying to think of a creative name for our Blog, Sean said we haven't been very exciting lately so he came up with Drew's Nooz, I thought it was great! I hope to have some time to make a cute blog and post some of our "Nooz" and keep in touch with my peeps!
