Poor Sean

It's raining out, pollution all around sludge is probably coming down, and yet another bomb threat at Jordan. He was late getting home yesterday due to a bomb threat, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork. I turned on the TV this morning to see that there is another bomb threat at Jordan High. I guess they didn't quite get the effect they wanted yesterday because only he and a few teachers were left in the building. I just hope he doesn't get blown up. I love my man!

I'm done with this weather. I need some sunshine desperately. If I wasn't so afraid of getting skin cancer again I'd go to the tanning bed to get some artificial sunlight, who knows maybe I will anyway. This is so depressing. Last year we were contemplating moving to Alaska, I thought I could love it, but now I think not. I need sunshine. Come on sunshine, come out to play. If I wasn't sick, I'd head to the mountains for a nice ski day, but alas... I am sick.

I have a friend who does triathlons, her teams sponsor is Luna (nutrition bars) and their team is called the Luna Chix. I love it! I thought that was pretty witty, do you get it? Lunatics? Funny right? I want to join their team someday. They ROCK!

Bumantic!!

I just typed in a word verification on my nieces blog, it was "bumantic". Don't you think that should be real word? What would it mean? A romantic bum? I think I'm going to start using it maybe I can get it into websters, but I can't take credit for it, blogger should take credit.

Morning comes so stinking early. Connor has to get up before the sun comes up. We got new bunk beds and they delivered them this morning at 7:30. I woke Connor up and told him that they are coming to deliver the bunk beds and he was so excited he said "Will they set them up and then I can sleep in my new bed for the rest of the night?" Poor boy, it happens often that he wakes up wondering why he has to get up in the middle of the night and go to school. A few more months... but I'm ready for spring now. I can't ski this year so the snow is useless to me. I'm ready for sun, warmth, and laying a blanket out on the grass to read a good book or going for a nice walk in the hood.

School Is Back In Session!

I miss my little buddy Connor while he's at school. He had a really fun Holiday break, two whole weeks off. He played with his friends every single day. He played out in the snow a lot. I'm loving that they have this much snow to play in. Last year I told Sean that I remember walking home from school climbing the snowbanks. We hadn't had any big snowbanks until this year, and they kids have been having so much fun climbing up and sledding and building with them. Connor had tons of fun being pulled on his sled behind our neighbors 4-wheeler, they wanted to do it again the next day but school was starting so JR helped them go out with a bang.

I'm loving nap time again. I'm sitting here in silence listening to the clicking of the keyboard, hum of the computer, ticking of the clock and that is all I hear, it's wonderful. I love quiet time.

Thank Heavens for Wonderful Friends

Sean and I have felt so blessed many many times for living where we do. You just can't pick your neighbors, you find a house that will work for a while and hope for good neighbors. We have the best neighbors and best ward friends EVER. We could use a house with a better floor plan, but we just can't bring ourselves to move because we love our neighbors so much. We may just have to knock our house down and rebuild someday.

My friend Natelli made me feel so blessed today. She brought us dinner and cleaned my really messy kitchen while she was here. Then came back later and cleaned my bathroom! As Sean said "She is beyond a friend." Thank you so much Natelli for always being such a wonderful friend, you listen to my complaints and give us so much with me being sick so often. We love you and are so glad to have you guys for our friends and neighbors.

I so appreciate all of the well wishes that I get from my amazing friends.

P.S. Thank you to whoever did the 12 days of Christmas for us. It was so much fun, Connor was excited everyday to see what came. We were thinking we would have to start a tradition of doing that for someone each year.

Ode to my Porcelain

This has been my view for the last several weeks. It is making me so grumpy. The next 7 months better go by so fast! I remember with Jackson it seemed like it'd never end, I hope this one isn't the same. My Zofran doesn't work, can someone become immune to zofran after using it for 2 other pregnancies? So my update on the pregnancy is; I feel like poop!

Christmas was nice. It snowed a TON! It was so nice to have a white Christmas. It was so much fun to watch all the 4 wheelers pulling sleds behind, it looked like a lot of fun. The boys had a lot of fun, Connor said it was "the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!" that's always nice to hear. Sean surprised me this year, we don't normally surprise each other. He did so good and got me some books I've been wanting to read, some classic novels. I'm excited.

My mother in law loaned me some movies, some BBC Jane Austen ones. Some of them are SO bad. I watched Northanger Abby. Have you seen it? I wonder if the book is like the movie. It was the most bizarre movie I'd ever seen, the best part is that I watched the whole thing.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Update on the side view mirror; it's fixed my amazing husband got a new one and popped it right on, now it's as good as new! Thanks amazing hubby!

Oh the Hormones!

I cry daily, but today it was for a really good reason. Usually it's just because of sweet commercials I see on tv or remembering how long I will actually be sick for... but today... I was feeling really nauseous and starving because it had been two hours since feeding time. The only thing I felt like I could stand to eat was a taco salad from Taco Bell. I hate going to the Taco Bell that is closest to my house because it always smells like sewage in the drive thru. Somehow the smell from across the freeway crap plant all collects on the side of the building. You can't escape the smell because you have to roll down your window to order and then again to pay and get your food. When you are already nauseous that is not the best thing in the world. The taco salad from Taco Bell was important enough for me today to brave the scent. I waited until 2:30 because I had car pool pick up today and I took all of the kids home. I cruised over to the boarder, salivating a little anticipating my salad, and only getting a little frustrated with Connor telling me that he wanted the circle things there??? What the freak? Circle things? He said "it looks like this" pointed his finger toward me, moved it in a circle to spiral toward me. I should have gotten it from that but I was still frustrated with him. So anyway. I pull up to the speaker and order my beloved taco salad and some cinnamon twists (I can't beleive that he even remembered those, I don't ever remember him getting them, he doesn't like mexican so we never get him any). I get to the pay window and get my purse... no wallet! I left it down by the computer last night.. NOOOOOO!! So I tell the guy at the window that I have no wallet, he looked at me like he didn't know what to do. Poor guy, I messed him all up. I went home, sent Connor in to get my wallet. I noticed that Connor's friend left his jacket in the back seat so we ran it over to him, I noticed that Connor was dancing up to the door. We went back home to potty, then off we went to the Bell again. Roll the window down order and this time adding a LARGE Dr. Pepper. This time when I roll the window down to pay, I'm gagging, it was horrible! It's worse when I imagine what the smell actually is. I got my Taco Salad, thank heavens! Was it really worth it you ask? YES! And it has stayed down. I motion for Taco Bell to relocate, or open one closer to me. I can't stand the smell! Any one second that?

Yesterday I cried because I was backing my car in the garage and hit my side view mirror, and broke broke it! If you hear me telling people that I was driving down the road and an Apache helicopter came up behind me and shot it, just go with it. It's a much better story.

Thank you to all the nice congratulations you gave me. I have some great friends!

P.S. Amy lou, I'm sad that you are not pregnant with me too.. hello.. get the move on!

It's Really Early, but What the Heck!

If I can't share it with my friends than it's not much fun. After 7 months of trying, I'm pregnant. Since I've told so many people we are really keeping our fingers crossed to keep this one, as this was my 9th positive pregnancy test and we have two to show for it. It's a great sign that I'm sick already. I'm only 6 weeks and I'm sick. With my boys I got sick around 7 weeks. I'm still nervous though. This one will complete our family. I will be donzo after this one, and am quite excited for that. I'm really excited to be pregnant again, the being sick takes it down just a notch and maybe makes it a little more real since it's still fairly fresh on my mind. It's nice being pregnant this close to the last because I can remember all of the little cramps and other side effects of pregnancy. We had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
